"My
Iditarod Flag" Student teacher, Ms. Jamie Youngman and her class
are learning about mushing, Alaska and the Iditarod. They had read about
how the Alaska flag was designed and set out to design a flag for the
Iditarod Sled Dog Race. This 3rd grade class has designed their very own
"Iditarod Flag" which will be carried on the 2001 Iditarod trail
all the way to Nome, by musher David Straub.
